Place Units in Hold Fire

You can give orders to enemy units as part of Enemy Battle Plans just as you give orders to friendly units in BCT. This example shows the "hold fire" order, but the steps are essentially the same for all orders.

Select the Hold Fire function from the Orders menu or the Tool Bar.

 

Units with the hold fire order set will display a "h". Left-click on units to toggle on or off this order. Select a group of units to give the order or cancel the order for the entire group.

The hold fire order causes a unit to not shoot at units, even if they are within its range. It makes him less likely to be seen and more difficult to shoot at.
