Place Units in Defilade

You can give orders to enemy units as part of Enemy Battle Plans just as you give orders to friendly units in BCT. This example shows the defilade order, but the steps are essentially the same for all orders.

Select the Defilade function from the Orders menu or the Tool Bar.

 

Units with the defilade order set will display a "d". Left-click on units to toggle on or off this order. Select a group of units to give the order or cancel the order for the entire group.

The defilade order causes a unit to seek cover in his immediate surroundings. It makes him less likely to be seen and more difficult to shoot at. Fixed-wing aircraft can not be given this order.
