ProSIM Company / Leavenworth, Kansas / Since 1998
We build high-fidelity simulations of modern land warfare. Realistic does not have to mean slow and unplayable, and a playable wargame does not have to be shallow. Every title we make is meant to challenge you intellectually, not just mechanically.
01 / Titles
Seven titles, newest first. Every one is available as a download from our publisher, Shrapnel Games, who set and publish current pricing.

A British battle group against a Soviet-style enemy on Salisbury Plain. The best place to start.

Air cavalry operations across four decades, from the Ia Drang Valley to Mogadishu and Afghanistan.

The Arab-Israeli wars, from 1956 through the Yom Kippur War, plus two hypothetical modern battles.

Ten weeks in the South Atlantic, fought on the same topographic maps the British carried ashore.

A near-future campaign on the Korean peninsula, fought with next-generation weapons and hard political constraints.

Command a combined arms battalion task force in command real time, at a level of fidelity built for professional trainers.

The title that started the series: brigade-level modern land warfare, simulated rather than balanced.
02 / Defense applications
The same engine that drives our commercial titles has been delivered as custom scenario packages and analysis tools for defense customers. In 2007 Boeing commissioned a custom build of Air Assault Task Force for ground combat training, paired with their intelligent tutoring and after-action review system.
Counterinsurgency training packs, tailored orders of battle, instrumented after-action data and bespoke terrain are all things we have built to contract. If you are looking at simulation for institutional training, that is a conversation worth having.

03 / Who builds these
ProSIM was founded in 1998 by Pat Proctor, then a serving US Army officer. He commissioned out of Purdue in 1994 and retired a colonel in 2019, with service that included the Joint Strategic Assessment Team assembled by General David Petraeus and Ambassador Ryan Crocker to shape post-surge strategy in Iraq.
That is the reason these simulations model command the way they do. The chain of command, the delay between a decision and its execution, the friction of a plan meeting terrain — those are not design flourishes. They are the job.
Rebuilding. prosimco.com is being brought back online after a long absence. The games, the demos and the patch archive are all here again — the multiplayer Arena is still being restored. Get in touch if you need something that is not up yet.
